If you are thinking how much physical exercise should I be doing to keep fit, it is, surprisingly not as much as you would think.
If you aim for around 2.5 hours (150 minutes) of light to moderate aerobic activity per week. That’s just 21 minutes each day of the week or 50 minutes of activity 3 days a week.
Put another way, in just 1.25 hours (75 minutes) of vigorous aerobic activity per week, (or just 10 minutes every day) each day of the week or just 25 minutes 3 days a week you should start to see feel the benefits of your hard work.
Physical activity should be at least 10 minutes at a time.
Why not try walking or running on a treadmill, cross trainer, bike or rower and see the benefits for yourself.
